DIVA and Pawoon are planning for an integration of their services, in order to expand their market reach

The plan for IDX-listed PT Distribusi Voucher Nusantara Tbk (DIVA) to acquire 30 per cent of shares in point-of-sale (POS) service provider Pawoon had been realised on Friday, August 2.

Reports of this acquisition have been circulating since the end of 2018.

Following the acquisition, the two companies will work together on product development and innovation to support sales and marketing for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

“… We intended to use the competitive advantage of Pawoon to enable us to expand our market reach sooner. As a start, DIVA and Pawoon have launched a ‘Smart Outlet’ product, combining the DIVA outlet platform and Pawoon POS service,” DIVA Director Dian Kurniadi explained.
