Erik Jonsson, Co-founder and former CEO of Zalora Vietnam, and Tony Ngo, a distinguished entrepreneur and e-commerce investor, has announced the official launch of their flash sales site TOP MOT.

Soft-launched in December last year, TOP MOT provides Vietnamese customers the opportunity to buy authentic products at affordable prices, whilst offering brands and suppliers a channel to clear excess and past seasons’ inventories.

TOP MOT launches new flash sales campaigns at 10 am every day, with exclusive deals. All campaigns last for a maximum five days. However, the sales might end much sooner in case the products sell out.

The portal provides a range of deals from fashion, accessories, beauty, kids & babies to kitchenware and home appliances. The company also guarantees that the products are 100 per cent authentic, as all products are sourced directly from the official distributors of domestic and international brands present in Vietnam.

The startup has built all its operations and fulfilment capabilities in-house. Delivery is free.

TOP MOT’s sellers include ZARA, Bebe, Electrolux, Puma, Converse, L’Oreal, Yves Rocher and Marc Jacobs, to name a few.

The company recently also launched its iOS app. Since launch, the firm has seen approximately 70 per cent of traffic stem from mobile devices.

Three days ago, TOP MOT raised US$1 million in funding from private investors in the e-commerce field in the US, Europe and Asia.

Previously, Jonsson has also worked as deputy CEO of VinEcom, the e-commerce arm of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup and incubator of Adayroi.
