Indian e-commerce honcho Flipkart has acquired Mumbai-based F1 Info Solutions, a mobile phone and electronic products repair and services startup, for an undisclosed sum.

Flipkart said in a statement that the deal will significantly expand its offerings to the entire lifecycle of mobiles, IT products and consumer electronics — from sales to after-sales to repair services.

F1 Info Solutions will be merged with Flipkart’s subsidiary Jeeves, a third-party service provider for home appliances and furniture.
