With the latest collaborations, BookDoc now has more than 50 per cent coverage of private clinic services in Hong Kong

Malaysia-based healthcare platform BookDoc today announced two new collaborations with healthcare providers in Hong Kong – Quality HealthCare Medical Services Limited (QHMS) and Asia Medicare (HK) Limited (Asia Medicare).

With the latest collaborations, BookDoc now has more than 50 per cent coverage of private clinic services in Hong Kong, a step nearer to realising its aim to make healthcare accessible anytime and anywhere.

QHMS’ operations span diagnostics, primary healthcare and day care specialties. One of the largest providers of healthcare services to corporates in Hong Kong, the Group recorded more than 2.8 million healthcare visits in 2015.

Asia Medicare is one the largest providers of eye care services in Hong Kong. As patient demand continues to grow, Asia Medicare is also planning to upgrade its centres in 2016 and 2017, and expand its facility to offer expert eye care services.

“BookDoc is now working with QHMS, which operates a network of around 100 multi-specialty clinics in Hong Kong, and Asia Medicare, which is now part of Aier Eye Hospital Group, the largest private eye services group in China with a market capitalisation well over US$5 billion. To us, it is a vote of confidence on the value that BookDoc could bring to the table and a recognition that the way we experience healthcare will indeed be shaped by technological development,” said Chevy Beh, Founder and CEO of BookDoc, in a press statement.

“By collaborating with BookDoc, we will be able to streamline the reservation process and ensure access to us is only a click away,” added Iris Zheng, CEO of Asia Medicare.

With BookDoc’s growing network of healthcare providers in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as its integrated online service ecosystem, users can now travel to any of these countries for their healthcare needs using the BookDoc App.
