Singapore-headquartered fintech startup MatchMove today announced the appointment of Krishnan Sarangapani as its CTO.

Based in Bangalore, Sarangapani will lead the company’s tech team in building its B2B banking-as-a-service platform.

His team will enhance and scale its cloud architecture and improve customer experience to meet clients’ needs in the payment landscape.

“Krishnan’s valuable experience in information technology is vital in gearing MatchMove towards a truly product-driven, platform-focused and customer-centric operating model. This is in line with our mission to become the world’s largest, safest, and most competitive mover of digital money over the next few years,” said MatchMove Founder and CEO Shailesh Naik in a press statement.

Sarangapani has more than 20 years’ experience in information technology, engineering, and service delivery where he worked in the US and India across industries in healthcare, e-commerce, banking, telecom, and the public sector.

Prior to joining MatchMove, he headed the cloud engineering and operations team for US-based life sciences company ArisGlobal, where he led product transformation and public cloud deployment to accelerate customer migration and business growth.

Sarangapani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, India.

MatchMove enables businesses to conduct banking services on their platforms, such as payments and remittance.

The company has raised funding rounds from Vickers Venture Partners and Credit Saison in October 2017.
