Restaurant directory app Qraved announced the integration of Go-Jek’s food delivery service Go-Food Application Programming Interface (API) into contents published on its platform. The strategy is considered attractive enough to increase traffic into the Qraved app while pushing up transaction for Go-Food restaurant partners.

The business model entails every restaurant listed on the Qraved platform that also happens to be a Go-Food partner to have the “Order Now” option on the Qraved app. Users will then be directed to the restaurant’s page on the Go-Jek app to finish their transaction there.

The same model also applied to every thematic blog posts published by Qraved; every restaurant mentioned in the post will be given an Order Now button if they have partnered with Go-Food. However, for the time being, the feature will only be available on the Qraved mobile app (and not on its mobile site).

It is not known whether Qraved will receive commission from Go-Food for every successful transaction made through the app. DailySocial has reached out to Qraved CEO Steven Kim but he declined to give comments on the matter.

“We will not give comments for the time being. Thank you for your interests,” he said.

Qraved has presence in Greater Jakarta Area, Bandung, Denpasar, Surabaya, Medan, and Makassar. In addition to providing a directory of restaurants, Qraved users are also able to provide reviews, reserve tables, seek ongoing promo and loyalty programme Qraved Points that can be redeemed with a meal voucher.

DailySocial observed that this is the first time Go-Jek made initiatives to integrate the Go-Food API to services outside of the Go-Jek ecosystem. Go-Food is the most widely used service unit on the Go-Jek platform after ride-hailing service Go-Ride. In total, Go-Food has secured 125,000 merchants in various provinces in Indonesia.
