Their first fringe event will be held on Aug 11, Thursday at WorkCentral, Singapore Shopping Centre

SodaInMind

SodaInMind, a Singapore-based UX team of developers and designers, is partnering with Slush Singapore, a global startup and tech event, along with WorkCentral, a co-working space in Singapore, to help startups maximise their potential and experience when attending a startup conference through their fringe events.

The upcoming event on Thursday is the first of their two events leading up to Slush Singapore, which is coming this September 20. The organisers aim to educate startup founders and to improve their experience when mingling and networking, in addition to other things.

There will be speakers from each organiser to discuss several topics. SodaInMind will talk about how they work and what they can offer to startups. Slush Singapore will talk about their upcoming event during a short session, and WorkCentral will give a talk about what startups can do when finding the right office and the people to work with.

“Through our experience, we understand how difficult it can be for startups to navigate their way through a tech event. Representing your company by attending a tech event is crucial as it can make or break your startup,” said Murtuza Topiwalla, a developer at SodaInMind, when contacted by e27.

“It is equally important to plan on what you want to do at the event and who you’d like to meet. We realise what a big deal this is, which is why we decided to organise the fringe events,” he added.
