Hiip had recently announced an undisclosed Series A funding round led by Vnet Capital

The e27 Community on Telegram Group has voted for Vietnamese influencer platform Hiip as Startup of the Month for March 2019!

Hiip offers an automated influencer platform to help brands and advertisers connect with social influencers in Vietnam and Thailand. Using AI and Big Data, it aims to help brands and advertisers reach target customers, build brand reputation and increase sales by connecting directly with a network of thousands of influencers to promote products product, service, or specific campaigns.

Brands will be matched with the right influencers based on the specific requirements and influencer data.

Launched in April 2016, the startup has announced a “seven-digit” US Dollar Series A funding round on March 25. The round was led by Vnet Capital, with participation of Japan Strategic Capital, Rentracks, and Vulpes Investment Management.

The funding round is an evidence of investors’ growing interests in emerging markets in Southeast Asia, beyond Singapore and Indonesia.

For runner-up, the e27 Community has voted for Kargo, an Indonesian logistics startup which has recently raised a US$7.6 million seed funding round.

Led by Sequoia Capital India, the funding round included the participation of big names such as Travis Kalanick’s 10100 fund; Pandu Sjahrir’s Agaeti Ventures; Patrick Walujo, co-founder of Northstar Group; Intudo Ventures; Zhenfund; ATM Capital; and Innoven Capital.

The startup was co-founded by Tiger Fang, who led Uber operations in Indonesia and Western China, and Yodi Aditya, who had experiences in building platform solutions across the logistics, airline and finance industries in both Indonesia and Singapore.

Its team also included alumni from Uber global team and other leading tech startups in Indonesia.
